Questions, answered
How does the free trial work?
Download TokStash and everything is unlocked for 7 days — no account, no card. When the trial ends, a single $29 in-app purchase unlocks it for life. Your stashed tokens stay accessible either way.
Are the tokens actually secure?
Yes. All randomness comes from Apple's SecRandomCopyBytes — the operating system's cryptographically secure generator — with unbiased sampling. No Math.random, no shortcuts.
Where are my stashed tokens stored?
In a single AES-GCM-encrypted file on your Mac. The 256-bit encryption key is stored in the macOS Keychain. Nothing syncs, and nothing is sent over the network.
Is it really a one-time purchase?
Really. $29 once through the Mac App Store, tied to your Apple Account, restorable on any of your Macs. No subscription.
What does TokStash require?
macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, Apple Silicon or Intel.
