Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the TokStash application and the tokstash.com website, operated by Type Visions ("we", "us"). By using TokStash you agree to them.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use TokStash on Macs you own or control, as permitted by the Mac App Store Terms of Service. For copies obtained through the Mac App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Trial and purchase

• TokStash includes a 7-day free trial with full functionality.
• After the trial, continued use of the generators requires a one-time in-app purchase ($29 or local equivalent) processed by Apple.
• The purchase is a lifetime license for the app tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on your other Macs.
• Refunds for Mac App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.
• Tokens you have stashed remain accessible after the trial ends.

Your responsibility for generated secrets

TokStash generates cryptographically secure values, but how you use them is up to you. You are responsible for handling, storing, and rotating any keys, tokens, or passwords you generate, and for backing up data you cannot afford to lose. Deleting the app's encrypted stash or its Keychain entry permanently destroys stashed tokens; we cannot recover them — by design.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute TokStash except as permitted by law, and you may not use it in violation of applicable law.

Disclaimer of warranty

TokStash is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Type Visions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of TokStash, including loss of data, secrets, revenue, or profits. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
